Angelina Perete
Angelina Perete’s relationship with music can be described as a love-line from the heart. From the age of five, Angelina had a passion for singing. Coming from a musical family her inspiration and lifelong interest in music was nurtured by her late father. Where there was family, there was music. Where there was love, there was music.

“Music makes moments meaningful” says the bubbly and personable Angelina. Having had many influences throughout her professional singing career, one could say that her audiences have been just as diverse as her influences in music. From the evergreen favourites through to rock and roll and blues, her performances come through as a subtle blend of her musical influences.

“It’s truly connecting with the audience in the moment and giving them my very best.” says Angelina who exclaims that one of her proudest moments was being a featured performer at the Welcome & Farewell Party Nites event for International Delegates and Contingents of the Malaysian Commonwealth Games. For her it showed that although we may come from different places, we come together as a family through music.

Angelina has also performed at numerous corporate and official functions regularly with Dato’ Leonard Ong, Malaysia’s Maestro of a Thousand Voices, Comedian and The King of Jingles. There is great pleasure in seeing local and foreign dignitaries connect through music. Recently she has also begun to perform together with Sabah’s guitarist extraordinaire Roger Wang.

In every moment her performances aim to take you away from the everyday and to connect you with that love-line and warmth that music provides anywhere and anytime.
